Downtown Plymouth Farmer’s Markets Back for 2016 #DTP
An annual staple for both residents of downtown Plymouth and visitors alike, the Plymouth Farmer’s Market has returned, effective May 7, 2016.
Located on Penniman Avenue between S. Main and S. Union (in front of the Penn Theater), the Farmer’s Markets run from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 pm every Saturday through October 29, 2016, with the following exceptions:
- Saturday, July 9 (closed for Art in the Park)
- Saturday, September 10 (closed for Plymouth Community Fall Festival)
According to the city website, “This year’s market will again feature a variety of fresh produce, vegetable, herb & flowering plants, fresh and dried flowers, eggs, meats, baked goods, popcorn, cherry products, salsa & BBQ sauces, pastas & sauces, honey, jams & jellies and more. There will also be a great variety of handmade and recycled items including candles, soaps, lotions, hand-painted furniture & frames, jewelry, birdhouses and garden & holiday deco and more.”
